Cetrella launched its 23rd year as fine dining restaurant, led by Managing Partner M'hamed Bahet and Executive Chef Josuë Monterrosas and serving Mediterranean-Rim, California Coastal cuisine. Cetrella is the anchor eatery at State Street Market in Los Altos, where its restaurant with bar and terrace opens onto a charming Paseo, an adjacent teaching kitchen, and underground speakeasy. The Market is a venue planned by Los Altos Community Investments principal Anne Wojcicki, and designed by Gensler Architects, the firm awarded first place in Building Design and Construction’s 2023 ranking for the top 130 Hospitality Facility Architecture Firms.

Cetrella’s restaurant, in atmospheric hues of sand, sea, sky and verdure, opens onto a Spanish-tiled Paseo with arcaded patio dining. The Speakeasy has pewter ceiling, brick walls, wood doors and columns recycled from Hollywood Bowl benches, and tile bar counter with blue crop circles.
